  • Eligible to Redeem

    Eligible to Redeem count is the count of your crowns that are ready to be redeemed. These are different from your total crowns. Everyday some crowns from your total crowns are pulled out and put into the "Eligible to Redeem" crowns based on an inbuilt system rate called the Eligible to Redeem Rate.

     

    Please note that you need to have the required amount of crowns in your Eligible to Redeem count before making any redemption.

    • Can I make a recharge on a different number?

      Yes, it is possible to recharge or pay phone bills of numbers other than your registered number as well.  You have the option of adding one more number to your account in addition to your primary number.

    • How do I recharge my mobile using my crowns?

      Before recharging your number, it is important to fill in its SIM type and network operator. For this, simply follow the steps below-

      • Open the app
      • Go to“View Your Profile” section
      • Enter your SIM Type and Operator
      • Tap on Save

       

      Once this is done, making a recharge is very easy-

      • Go to ‘Redeem’ section
      • Tap on "Talktime" option
      • Add amount
      • Select the number to recharge
      • Confirm it and your recharge is done

       

      In case of any issues while doing the same, please submit query.

    • Can I pay my post paid bills?

      Yes, you can use your crowns to pay your postpaid bills.

    • For which service provider / mobile operators can I recharge my phone for?

      Our system supports recharges or postpaid bill payemnts of only the following operators- Vodafone, Airtel, Aircel, Idea and Reliance GSM. Recharges on other operators will be declined by the system.

       

      Also, it is advisable to check with your service provider whether the denomination of your recharge is valid or not so that that this does not become a reason of recharge declination.

    • When will I receive a payment confirmation for my recharge?

      As soon as you make a recharge, you receive a confirmation SMS from Crownit confirming your recharge.

    • What is convenience fee?

      There is a convenience fee for making recharges through crowns.

      If the recharge amount is less than or equal to 500, 20 additional crowns will be charged; else if it more than 500, 40 crowns will be charged.

  • Redeeming your crowns
    • How do I redeem my crowns?

      You can redeem crowns by making a recharge on your registered mobile number or buying shopping vouchers from a varied range of vouchers! You may also redeem them to buy movie tickets through Book My Show and PVR Cinemas.

    • Why I am not able to redeem my crowns instantly as I earn them?

      Users can only redeem crowns that are available in their "Eligible to Redeem" count. To know more about the concept of Eligible to Redeem, read here.

       

      This count is based on a system generated counter that ensures fair usage of the application and prevents scamming.

       
       

    • What is the value of one crown

      The value of one crown is equal to one rupee.

    • Where can I see my redemption history?

      Your redemption history is available under "My Transactions". You can find this in the side drawer of the app; it has a detailed record of each redemption that is made from your account along with its date and time.

  • Vouchers
    • How can I purchase vouchers using my crowns?

      To redeem your crowns to buy a voucher, simply open the Crown it App, and do the following -
       

      • Tap on "Redeem"
      • Tap on "Vouchers"
      • From the list, choose the voucher you wish to buy
      • Enter the number of vouchers
      • Tap on "Get Gift Voucher"

       

      Once the transaction is approved, you will then receive a text message containing your Voucher Number, Voucher Code, and Expiry Date (depending on what you have chosen).

    • Voucher terms and conditions

      The terms and conditions of all vouchers are governed by their respective companies. Crownit has added no special conditions of its own.

       

      On the voucher redemption page, these terms and conditions are mentioned for your perusal, it is advisable to read them before buying any voucher.

    • When will I receive my voucher?

      As soon as you buy a voucher, it gets delivered to you within a maximum of 24 hours. You receive an SMS and email with the details of your voucher.

       

      If you do not receive them, please let us know by submitting query regarding the same.

    • What is the validity of my voucher?

      Every voucher has its own expiry date, it is mentioned in the same SMS and email in which the voucher is sent.

    • How can I redeem my voucher?

      Guidelines of redeeming the voucher are mentioned on the app's page from where voucher is purchased. It is advisable to please go through them carefully before buying the voucher.

    • How can I purchase coupons using my crowns?

      To redeem your crowns to buy coupons, simply open the Crown It App, and do the following -

      • Tap on "Redeem"
      • Tap on "Coupons"
      • Choose the coupon you wish to buy
      • Select the number of coupons and 
      • Tap on "Get Gift Voucher"

    • Coupons terms and conditions

      Terms and conditions are mentioned on the coupon's redemption page, please go through them carefully before buying them. They are subsequently sent again in the email in which the coupon code is sent after redemption.

    • How can I redeem the coupon?

      Guidelines of redeeming the coupon are mentioned on the app's page from where coupon is purchased. It is advisable to please go through them carefully before buying them.

    • When will I receive my coupon after my crowns have been deducted?

      As soon as you redeem your crowns for buying a coupon,  the coupon gets delivered instantly via SMS as well as email. However, sometimes it may take up to a maximum of 24 hours.

    • What is the validity of my coupon?

      Every coupon has its own expiry date, it is mentioned in the same SMS and email in which the coupon is sent.

    • Can I cancel the purchase of a coupon?

      Any redemption once made cannot be cancelled. It is therefore, always advisable to place all redemption requests after appropriate consideration.
