High on cricket yet? With cricket at its peak, everyone’s talking about that cracker of a shot and that spectacular run-out. There’s no wonder that the cricket bug has bitten the corporate world as well. That’s because Crownit is hosting the first-ever cricket tournament in the start-up ecosystem. The tourney has been aptly named as Start up Premier League. We will get to see top firms from the start-up community battling out in the pitch.

The success of start-ups in India is the core reason of this league. Crownit are also true believers in sports and the spirit of gamesmanship. Organising the Start up Premier League is a way of celebrating this success through cricket. It is also an initiative which highlights that start-ups are the most exciting place for both work and play.

Giants in their fields, these companies are fuelled with determination and passion. They have shown an ideal example of great teamwork spirit. That’s why it comes as no surprise that start-ups are booming in India. With a line up which includes some of our favourite start-ups, this tourney promises to be a thriller. The 10 participating teams are Uber, OYO, Mobikwik, Little, Shop Clues, Nearbuy, Fastfox, Red FM, Aaj Tak, and of course, Crownit.


Details of the league

The Start up Premier League will commence on 6th May, and the curtains will come down on 8th May. This three day cricketing extravaganza will take place at Abhi Sports Complex in Gurgaon. Crownit’s media partners – Aaj Tak, Red FM and YourStory – will be present to get all the exciting details.
